Asian Wedding Cakes at the Brangwyn Hall in Swansea

When you have over 300 people attending your Asian Wedding celebration at the Brangwyn Hall in Swansea you need a lot of cake.

So why not have a cake in the shape of a car, and a tower of cupcakes, and large red heart shaped cake decorated with diamonds, and a cake decorated with a beautiful floral design, and a fairy castle cake with lights, and an illuminated water fountain and a beautiful white white cake with a diamond brooch.

They all looked amazing!

 

This particular Wedding took an enormous amount of planning and preparation but it was worth every minute. Every small detail was worked through to ensure that the cakes were exactly how the bride wished they would be.

Sanah gave Sian a very special kiss to thank her for all her hard work.

The cake was supposed to be delivered to La Parrilla restaurant in Swansea as a surprise but a last minute change meant that it was picked up from our patisserie in Neath instead.

Summer fruits recipes

Fresh raspberries, strawberries, blueberries and blackberries are for sale everywhere at the moment and are reasonably priced. For a great day out why not visit one of the "pick your own" farms on the Gower such as Beynons Farm near Oxwich. Take the children and teach them where and how fruit is grown. It's a healthy outing with the bonues of lots of lovely fruit and veg to take home to eat.

Colourful 3 tier cake for Mehndi Celebration

Sian made the most beautifully coloured 3 tier Cake this week for a brides Mehndi celebration held at the Canada Lodge & Lake near Cardiff. It is the first time that we have visited this venue but we were very impressed with the location and the facilities.

The cake itself looked stunning and matched the stage backdrop beautifully.

The Wedding Celebration is set to take place this weekend at the Brangwyn Hall in Swansea and Sian is busy making cake for 500 guests.

4 Tier Ivory Chocolate Wedding Cake decorated with black ribbon and fresh fruit

Sian made a stunning Wedding Cake last Saturday for a Wedding held at the Coed-yr-mystwer Hotel in Bridgend. The cake was a  4 Tier Ivory Chocolate Wedding Cake decorated with black ribbon and fresh fruit.

Swansea Life Launch Party

Swansea Life Magazine has been relaunched with a grand party at La Parrilla restaurant in SA1, Swansea. We supplied our La Creme Dessert Canape Cups for the event which "went down a storm".

Bertie Basset Birthday Cake

Novelty cakes "r" us.

The latest creation is a Bertie Basset Birthday Cake which is large enough to feed "the 5,000".

I hope the gentleman has a lot of friends and family or he will be eating cake for a month!

Just like "quality street" this cake is made for sharing.

Swansea Life Magazine feature La Creme Wedding Cake

The July edition of Swansea Life Magazine has just been published and page 98 features an article on Sian and La Creme. Sian is pictured making one of her chocolate wedding cakes and article talks about Sian being chosen to make the Wedding cake for Roberto and Beth. The Wedding reception was held in a marquee of a country house near Haverfordwest. The place looked absolutely amazing with views of a lake stretching out from the marquee.

 

The Wedding cake was a five tier chocolate cake with a chocolate swirl from top to bottom.

 

Sian also made chocolate dessert cups filled with chocolate brownies, chocolate and amaretto mousse and decorated with strawberries.
