We have just returned from selling our Cowin Lush Welsh Cheesecakes at the Royal Welsh Show and we would like to say a big Thank You to all our customers, who were so very generous in their praise for our cakes.
The challenge is on to find a distributor for our cakes in Mid Wales so that we can supply people all year round. Any suggestions kindly received.
Sian is working on a range of products that we can send through the post and if anyone is interested in signing up for our newsletter I will keep you up dated about our progress in the coming weeks.
We can also use the newsletter as a means to inform you of any special offers we have and we can advertise our Christmas brochure (nearer to the time).
One product which is most certainly postable and is definately going to be a hit this Winter is our Frangipane Mince Pies. They have just been nominated for a Welsh True Taste award and we will find out in October how we got on.

One of the great things about our business is that every cake we make is bespoke for each and every individual customer. Sport is definitely one of the most popular choices when individualising a cake and last week we had a cricket cake for an 80 year old gentleman and a Nike Le-bron shoe for an 18th Birthday.

The Le bron Nike shoe and shoe box was more of a challenge but we were delighted with the end result. More importantly, so was the customer.

Everybody has their own personal favourites when it comes to cake designs. Sports and hobbies are very popular, as are children's tv characters. Whatever your interests are, just send us through the enquiry and we can give you a quote. Most people choose to collect from our unit in Baglan, Port Talbot but we can deliver in the Neath,Swansea, Bridgend area for a small charge.
We supply lots of restaurants, hotels and coffee shop shops across South Wales with our delicious desserts. The trend is definitely towards individual desserts, as opposed to large 12 or 16 portion cakes which then need to be cut, although we can supply either.
Our advantage over our competitors is that we supply a fresh product as opposed to a frozen product. This means that we can incorporate fresh fruit into our desserts and we don't need to put in any additives.
Three desserts we have trialled recently are a Raspberry Torte with a White Chocolate collar, a chocolate mousse and as a wedding dessert sample (requested by the bride) a honeycomb cheesecake.

The world has gone Fruit tart crazy. We can't make them fast enough.
Fresh strawberries, raspberries and blueberries make a perfect combination and they are selling "like hot cakes".
We supply these tarts to a number of outlets across South Wales including Cwmcerrig farm shop in Gorlas and Home & Colonial Deli in Porthcawl. They are also very popular for garden parties and last weeks royal wedding was a celebration of Red, White & Blue.
