Birthday Cakes in Swansea

Busy week as always, with lots of different cakes on order.

Everybody has their own personal favourites when it comes to cake designs. Sports and hobbies are very popular, as are children's tv characters. Whatever your interests are, just send us through the enquiry and we can give you a quote. Most people choose to collect from our unit in Baglan, Port Talbot but we can deliver in the Neath,Swansea, Bridgend area for a small charge.

Oxwich Bay Hotel Wedding Cake

The Oxwich Bay Hotel on the Gower in Swansea was the venue for our latest wedding cake creation.

The wedding reception was held in the Marquee overlooking Oxwich Bay in the grounds of the hotel.

The bride choose a 3 tier pink and white wedding cake decorated with iced flowers and diamante diamonds.

Restaurant desserts

We supply lots of restaurants, hotels and coffee shop shops across South Wales with our delicious desserts. The trend is definitely towards individual desserts, as opposed to large 12 or 16 portion cakes which then need to be cut, although we can supply either.

Our advantage over our competitors is that we supply a fresh product as opposed to a frozen product. This means that we can incorporate fresh fruit into our desserts and we don't need to put in any additives.

Three desserts we have trialled recently are a Raspberry Torte with a White Chocolate collar, a chocolate mousse and as a wedding dessert sample (requested by the bride) a honeycomb cheesecake.

Embossed wedding cup cakes

These embossed cup cakes were for a wedding at Margam Orangery at the start of May. The cup cakes were classic white with violet roses and butterflies and had an embossed pattern stenciled into the white fondant.

The effect was magical.

Fruit tarts

The world has gone Fruit tart crazy. We can't make them fast enough.

Fresh strawberries, raspberries and blueberries make a perfect combination and they are selling "like hot cakes".

 
We supply these tarts to a number of outlets across South Wales including Cwmcerrig farm shop in Gorlas and Home & Colonial Deli in Porthcawl. They are also very popular for garden parties and last weeks royal wedding was a celebration of Red, White & Blue.

 

Neath Amateurs 100th Anniversary Cake

Big bash last sunday at the Towers Hotel in Swansea for Neath Amateur Operatic Society's 100th Anniversary Centenary Lunch. 

West End and Broadway star Caroline Sheen - cousin of Micheal - gave a guest performance of songs from the musicals and we were lucky enough to be asked to supply the cake.

 

 

Mr Tumble birthday cake

Everybody loves Mr Tumble. Mel made this cake for a special girl who was celebrating her 3rd Birthday.

 
Other cakes include an 18th Birthday Rugby Cake and a 40th Birthday Chocolate Cake.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

We also made a 1st birthday cake and a christening cake for Ioan.

4 Tier Chocolate Extravaganza Wedding Cake

A beautiful chocolate extravaganza this weekend. 4 tiers decorated with chocolate fans, white chocolate maltesers, white chocolate cigarellos and chocolate decorated panels.

 
The cake looked absolutely stunning - truly a La Creme Creation.

40th Chocolate Birthday Cake

What better way to celebrate your 40th birthday than with a Chocolate Cake. Whether your preference is white chocolate, milk chocolate or dark chocolate, La Creme has special cake waiting for you.

 
Most of our cakes are collected from our unit on the baglan energy park in Neath Port Talbot but we can arrange delivery locally across Souht Wales for a small charge.

 

Toffee Nut Cheesecake

Some photographs look good enough to eat and certainly this photo of a Toffee Nut Cheesecake is one of those occasions. Better still, it tastes as good as it looks.
