Last weekend Charlotte Church and Gavin Henson's son Dexter was christened and guess who was asked to bake the christening cake. Sian made dessert canapes for the evening event held at the couple's home and also the christening cake for Dexter. The whole of the day was captured by Hello magazine and Page 75 of this weeks Hello magazine has a picture of Charlotte, Gavin and Dexter cutting the cake.
We are absolutely delighted to bake a cake for two such inspirational national figures and judging by the pictures two natural and devoted parents.
Plus coming from Neath we are Ospreys fans and Gavin is a genius.
Many many thanks to Mal Pope and Lisa Rogers for making Sian so welcome on their radio show on BBC Wales this morning. Sian was on for a full hour talking about her cupcakes, our business and food in general and she sounded great.
What a fantastic experience. Everybody loves to talk cake and Sian brought along lots of samples for everybody to try.

We are getting more and more requests for novelty birthday cakes from Swansea, Neath, Port Talbot, Bridgend and Porthcawl so please don't leave it too late to order.
The latest enquiry we had on Friday was for a cake shaped like a Ford Capri.
The problem is that we must be employing young staff because only Sian and I knew what a Capri was.... It doesn't half make you feel old.
When you have over 300 people attending your Asian Wedding celebration at the Brangwyn Hall in Swansea you need a lot of cake.
So why not have a cake in the shape of a car, and a tower of cupcakes, and large red heart shaped cake decorated with diamonds, and a cake decorated with a beautiful floral design, and a fairy castle cake with lights, and an illuminated water fountain and a beautiful white white cake with a diamond brooch.
They all looked amazing!
This particular Wedding took an enormous amount of planning and preparation but it was worth every minute. Every small detail was worked through to ensure that the cakes were exactly how the bride wished they would be.
Sanah gave Sian a very special kiss to thank her for all her hard work.

The cake was supposed to be delivered to La Parrilla restaurant in Swansea as a surprise but a last minute change meant that it was picked up from our patisserie in Neath instead.

Sian made the most beautifully coloured 3 tier Cake this week for a brides Mehndi celebration held at the Canada Lodge & Lake near Cardiff. It is the first time that we have visited this venue but we were very impressed with the location and the facilities.
The cake itself looked stunning and matched the stage backdrop beautifully.
The Wedding Celebration is set to take place this weekend at the Brangwyn Hall in Swansea and Sian is busy making cake for 500 guests.
Sian made a stunning Wedding Cake last Saturday for a Wedding held at the Coed-yr-mystwer Hotel in Bridgend. The cake was a 4 Tier Ivory Chocolate Wedding Cake decorated with black ribbon and fresh fruit.

Swansea Life Magazine has been relaunched with a grand party at La Parrilla restaurant in SA1, Swansea. We supplied our La Creme Dessert Canape Cups for the event which "went down a storm".
