Wedding Desserts for Margam Orangery

Sian has developed a range of individual desserts for Weddings, Banquets and Corporate events.

Today marks our first delivery to The Orangery at Margam Park. The Orangery is one of the premier Wedding Venues in South Wales and is based in Margam Country Park. The desserts we supplied today were Raspberry Cheesecakes. The cakes had a biscuit base topped with a vanilla cheesecake and finished with fresh strawberries. Sian's recipe for Welshcakes

When the British Baker magazine decided to print a Spring 08 supplement advertising traditional and regional favourites from the UK, Sian was delighted to be ask to give a welsh perspective.

Under the La Creme brand, Sian produces handmade cakes, combining traditional fare with innovative recipes. When it come to the former, there can be no more traditional food produced in Wales then the Welsh cake.

"Welsh cakes are produced by every bakery, market, outdoor fair and supermarket in Wales" says Sian and they were the top seller at Harrods' Best of British promotion.

Jungle Birthday Cake on display in Neath

It has been Neath fair this week and to generate a bit of interest we made up a cake dummy of a Jungle Birthday Cake which we have displayed in the window of our Neath Shop. The cake looked great and it certainly had the desired effect because people kept stopping outside the window to take photos using their mobile phones.

Our daughter Isabel was captivated by the cake and she insisted that we took a photo with her in it, so that she could show her Nan and Bamps.

She still asking about her Mr.Tumble cake though...
