Answer : We use use only the freshest and tastiest ingredients.
We have been sourcing our cream direct from Ty Tanglwyst Farm Dairyin Pyle, Bridgend for the last 12 months and the quality is outstanding. Ty Tanglwyst in less than 5 miles from our unit and the cream goes from Cow to Cheesecake in under 8 hours.
We are proud of our association with Ty Tanglwyst and it is a perfect example of two locals businesses working together to reduce the supply chain and make exceptional products.
Rhys from Ty Tanglwyst was kind enough to give us this latest update at the end of March
"Spring is very late this year, all animals are still in their winter housing routines although we did let the milking cows out for a few days to lie in the sun and have a run and skip about! They are back in now as it has turned wet again during the last few days. There is very little grass growth on the farm, fertiliser application has been delayed until there is a little more green leaf on the grass to promote photosynthesis, better growth rates and more efficient nutrient utilisation. We have a Vet student from the Bristol Veterinary School joining us for a three week placement shortly, which will be a big help as we have lots of baby calves to feed at the moment. Late February/ early March saw lots of new arrivals at Ty Tanglwyst! "
