Sian was delighted to be selected as a finalist for the event and it was inspirational to meet so many outstanding women shortlisted for the evenings awards. The eventual winner of the category for Swansea Bay Business Woman of the year was Lara Johnson.
The Overall winner of the Title of Swansea Bay Woman of the year 2007 went to Professor Andrea Liggins who is the Dean of the Faculty of Art and Design at Swansea Institute. Truly a worthy winner and a fantastic role model for women.
After only two years trading it was wonderful to come runner up and all the family were present to help celebrate the success. Sian has focused on creating a brand synonymous with quality food and this is now becoming increasingly evident as the business develops into one recognised for high quality, innovative and unique menus.
Looking forward the intention is to develop the La Creme brand into a market leader for high quality patisserie products as well as diversifying into educating and inspiring others through Sian's very own Centre of Excellence.
