Goulash for Saturday Night Takeaway

With the cold weather and rugby to watch, this Saturday's takeaway menu is just what you need to warm you up.

For starters we have Roast Red Pepper Brushetta.

Main course is Beef Goulash with wild rice and cucumber & coriander salad.

Dessert is Blackberry and Vanilla Cheesecake

Priced at £15 per head, this is a perfect menu for that romantic meal for two or for entertaining friends. Sian will provide easy to follow cooking instructions and you can even take all the credit yourself.

Sian's recipe for duck.

Saturday night takeaway for 30 people

Saturday 21st June we supplied one of our takeaway meals for a party in Ogmore by Sea for 30 guests. Since we started offering a saturday night takeaway we have had a fantastic response from our customers who are looking for something different - something home cooked - and something easily prepared when entertaining guests. For this particular takeaway Sian was asked to prepare canape starters, followed by a light summer hot meal and finished with two of her fantastic desserts. The menu Sian devised is as follows :

Starters :

Prawn & Mangetout Skewers with Lemon Mayo Dip, Duck spring rolls with sweet Chilli Dip, vegetable spring rolls and chinese chicken skewers.

Main Course :

Five spice marinated chicken in a ginger, lemon grass sauce with oriental vegetables or sweet & sour pork. Served with wild rice and a rice noodle,chilli & cucumber salad.

Desserts :

Passionfruit cheesecake and Chocolate & Cherry Roulade.

La Creme Saturday Night Takeaway - April 19th

Each week La Creme advertise a Saturday Night Takeaway Menu, which is a three course meal that is collected from the shop and reheated and eaten at home.

Perfect for entertaining guests and it lets you take all the credit.

Normally Sian creates the menus for the month and they are posted to our website. Sometimes regular customers will ask her to make a particular dish for a special weekend and provided Sian is given enough notice this is never a problem. We always have alternatives available from our specials board if people prefer to choose something different and vegeterian requests are always catered for.

The menu for Saturday 19th April is as follows:

Starter of Celeriac & Watercress Soup

Main course of Beef Bourguignonne with Mustard Mash

Dessert of French Apple Flan.

All for £12.00 per head.

Starter : Tomato Tartlet,

Main : Chicken Casserole with apricots & spinach and served with wild rice.

Dessert : Plum Crumble

Friday & Saturday Night Takeaways

Each Friday & Saturday, Sian prepares a three course set meal for takeaway. The meal is designed to be reheated at home and served with the minimum of fuss. Sian gives full cooking instructions and the meal is perfect for that romantic meal for two or for entertaining guests. You can even claim the credit yourself for a fantastic homecooked meal - nobody will know the difference.
